Blackout
My second reading. I was going to give it three stars, but I realized in comparison to some of the crap I've read lately, this is freaking excellent.Some authors can give you what should be a great story, and deliver it in a way that bores you to tears. Others can give you a mediocre story, and deliver it in a way that makes you love it.
The latter is the case with Blackout.
