Sci-Fi & Scary

I really liked this - but for most of the book, it was exactly that. I really liked it, but I didn't LOVE it.

However, towards the end of the book, there's one page that catapulted this book from a 4* to a 5* read.

The author made it clear that you can love someone but not forgive them. You can love someone and still not say "It's okay". You don't have to assuage their guilt when they've done you wrong.

And you can love them anyways.

A beautifully written MG fantasy novel.

Highly recommend it.
