Bob
BOB is a quick, easy read that will have you laughing at it’s silliness within moments. Some of Bob’s oft repeated phrases will sink into your head and regurgitate at random moments. Such as:“Is okay. Bob have cousin.” – Bob
I cannot wait to try that one on someone after something goes wrong. I will do my best to do it with a straight face. I swear it.
BOB is a hard book to go into detail on. It’s an amusing read about finding love, aliens, and avoiding being arrested. It is not meant to be deep, or to be taken seriously. Bob is a lovable character with many quirks that you’d love to have by your side. Beyond his cousins and other assorted family members, he also has a law-abiding car. Why do I call it law-abiding? Well, the thing refuses to start unless everyone is wearing a seat-belt! All in all, Tegon Maus created a great, memorable character in Bob (and his cousins).
It’s also a story about friendship and perseverance, with a nicely unexpected ending.
Tegon Maus has a talent for comedy with a heart-warming edge. I definitely recommend BOB if you’re looking for something to cheer you up on a crappy day.
